What is NFT Certificate?
Why are we launching NFT Certificates?
Over the past two years, more than 10000 students have graduated from Nas Academy. Many of them have used the certification from our courses to find job opportunities, advance their career within their companies or even find partnership deals. We are thrilled to see our students share their certificates across social media (LinkedIn, Twitter and even Instagram stories). But we know that a PDF is not the most convenient and lasting form to store and share a certificate. With Blockchain technology, we can now turn your Certificates into Digital Copies that are easy to share and verify. With these NFTs, we can now unlock more Learning Rewards within our community in the future (Stay tunes for more updates!)
What can you do with the certificate?
Once you have completed the course Graduation Requirements (at least 75% of course duration and complete course feedback):
You will be able to see an option to Claim your NFT Certificate in your learning portal (Make sure you have MetaMask Wallet(2) connected)
2. Upon clicking, you will be redirected to Nas IO to preview and start minting(3) your NFT
How can I access my NFT Certificate(s)?
Once your NFT is created, you will see an option to view your certificate on Learning portal.
Alternatively, you can also visit https://nas.io/tokens to view a list of all tokens if you have taken many courses and claimed more than one NFT Certificate.
3. Once you click on any specific NFT or token, you can view more information on it.
Note: All your NFT transaction records are also traceable on the blockchain via by searching your Token IDs on a Polygonscan(4)
What can I do with my NFT Certificate?
You can easily share your NFT Certificate using the sharing option on your token detail page.
We are working on a list of Learning Rewards from our Creators/Partners that can be claimed using your NFT certificates , as well as other Community Benefits within Nas Academy. You will be the first one to learn about these benefits in our Email/Whatsapp/Discord communication.
Can I sell/transfer my NFT Certificate?
No you will not be able to sell and transfer your NFT Certificate, as this is proof of your graduation at Nas Academy and should only be valid for you. We have written in our contract that transfer of token will not be allowed.
Legend
(1) Non-fungible Tokens: Tokens representing assets that have unique, verifiable identity. Unlike fungible tokens like Bitcoin, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are NOT **directly interchangeable or replaceable. For instance, token #1 issued the first student graduating from a course will be different from token #1000 held by another student who graduates later.
